Can I Complain Just A Little Bit?

I know many people have worse troubles than I. But… This morning I woke up with a blister or two on the roof of my mouth. And as the day progressed, they spread. I’m pretty sure it’s a cold sore, which I’ve often had on my lip, but never in my mouth. It’s a real pain! There, I’m done complaining now!

Thanks for all your sympathy! I think I'm on the mend although it's slow. Eating is a rather painful experience right now. Which is good, I suppose, in the "eating less" department. :-) Would you believe, oatmeal is really good right now! :-)

As soon as you feel these dreaded things arriving, take Pepto Bismal by the large tablespoonful. Then, take some more several hours later. It coats the stomach and wards them off. Don't ask me how. I just know it works for me if/when I catch them in time. If our mouths match our stomachs...well then.

Okay, I updated! Your turn!

Ok Jenni, I'm back with my updates so now it's your turn. Is your mouth still so sore? I'll bet icecream and pudding would feel nice, along with the healthy oatmeal. How about milk shakes of fruit shakes? Mashed potatoes? Wouldn't want you to starve or anything...

Thanks, Iris, I'm certainly not starving! :-) It's getting better every day and today I hardly notice it. I'll update as soon as I have a minute. Right now I'm dealing with two puking kids. (The two youngest.) :-(

thanks for the invite Jenni, I would have loved to come. It would have been fun to remember memories, and hear some more good tales from the tale teller (Neal) :) Next time we come up (I think over Thanksgiving weekend) and if you can fit me in, we'll have to stop in for a visit. It will be just me and Emma travelling , sure hope it goes well :)
How's your mouth feeling now? ouch! what do you do? Do you gargle with salt water or something? Sure hope they heal soon.
