Chocolate and Little Boys
Can one little chocolate cupcake with fudgy chocolate icing make a kid very very hyper??? The boys each had one for lunch and Caleb has been zipping around like a squirrel on a caffeine I.V. ever since. Help! Part of it is that he's like me: when he gets excited about a project or something, he goes at it full-bore and maybe even obsessively. :-) And he's been really excited about a few things this afternoon. Now he's finger-painting and has calmed down considerably. And Daddy's supervising them! :-)

Great word picture - the small animal that I can't spell with a strong drink I can't spell IV... very funny.
Did you see the movie "Hoodwinked" or "Over the Hedge"? Sorta dumb, but they both have this crazy, hyper squirrel...
well, yesterday i took the kids outside to play and our neighbour was out there with his kid. after he watched my kids run around for a few minutes, he asked me if i had given them bowls of ice-cream before i let them out. i told him i just went for straight sugar.
and i have indeed watched over the hedge. about 50 times, while flying to canada in sept. :)
I too have seen "Over the Hedge" so I can understand a little of what you're talking about. On another note, I am so impressed with your self-restraint in regard to the desserts! I can't imagine that was very easy. Yay for you!
well, before you think i'm super-woman dieter, i sorta ate a LOT yesterday - including left-over desserts and cinnamon rolls. so, we're starting fresh again today! and life goes on...
Rhonda, don't those squirrels just remind you of your kids way too much? :-) they do me (of my kids) anyway!
I'm a bit behind, but........
what's the point of sugar-free cheesecake? I mean, I'm sorry, but that's just cruel!
It was sweetened with Splenda. If you're diabetic, it's a little bit of heaven.
