My Favorite Pages - and boys!

I had a lot of fun with these pages for our family book. Lisa had a catalogue with lots of cool stickers and tags with sayings. That's where I got the idea for the words. I hope these pictures aren't too grainy for you all to see.

great pages! my favorite is the page with the ripped paper...i love the light blue and red together. i like the idea of the words you have on the outdoor ones of caleb and logan. nice job and i wish we could scrapbook together again!

I second that idea to all scrapbook together again! I sort of lost my motivation when it's just me by myself and no one is around to give suggestions or comments. Maybe we can set up online scrapbooking! :)

1) yes, there's lots to be said for doing it together. I sat beside lisa most of the weekend and we had lots of little consultations.

2) i learned something about words. i'm usually really boring and just put names and dates beside portraits. lisa boosted me out of that rut (with the help of her catalogue!)

3) favorite moment of the weekend: for josiah's first page, i was planning to print out on the computer the verse about children being a blessing from the Lord. Iris was helping me lay out the page and i had a rough copy if the verse there. suddenly leona pipes up: i have that verse in vellum and you can have it! I was so excited!!!

Sounds like you all had fun. The pages look good. I had fun working at the Treasure House--probably more in my element there than with a bunch of die-hard scrapbookers. =)
