Here's a rough reconstruction of a recent conversation around here...
Caleb: "Mom, what does it feel like to be an old lady?"
Me: "I don't know. You'd have to ask one!"
Caleb (with a mischevious grin): "I just did."
Me: "I don't mind because I'm so much smarter than the young people." (I figured that would get his goat!)
Caleb: "Well when you're so old that you forget everything, I'll know more than you."
I can't win!
Well, just so you all know, I'm still alive and well. The summer madness around here is starting to slow down and I've been able to catch my breath a little. It's bedtime now, but soon I will post more details and pictures of what's been going on around here. I know you just can't wait - right, Lisa?? :-)

right Jenni!!! was that a hint that I should be blogging also? doesn't writing on other people's blogs count?!!! ha! after today..life will slow down a bit around here also...we've had company the last 3 nights for supper and we're having stay over company tonight!!! and I'm trying to paint!!! but I will do my best to blog sometime soon....PROMISE!!
