True Confessions

True Confessions

*I bought three shower curtains in Kenora because I didn’t know which one I wanted. Now my dear hubby gets to return two in Winnipeg this weekend.

*Some of my flowers died from neglect – mostly lack of sufficient moisture. :-(

*Last week’s and this week’s laundry were all folded at the same time - this morning. Things are getting a little out of hand with the housework!

Okay, I want to hear some true confessions from all of you! No excuses! And that means you people who lurk out there and never comment, too. Lisa, Betty, Kathrina, Sheldon, Elise, Derek, Brenda, Karla, I know you’re out there!

um, I drank 3 glasses of coke last night and then couldn't go to sleep and now it's morning and my kids don't have breakfast yet and I'm on the internet instead of doing something about that because this takes less energy. how's that?

Let's see - there are a host of American classics that I haven't watched, I slept till around 11 yesterday, and I am imcapable of making decisions (which is why I'm not going to make a decision, but I may find myself packing soon). Oh, nearly everything that I've injested the last 2 days has been some form of bed carbs. Oh, and I had my first Cinnabon ever at the Minneapolis airport and it was GOOD! Are you happy now? = P

Oh, that should say BAD carbs, I'm not sure what bed carbs are, but it sounds sorta gross.

My floors aren't clean and probably won't get cleaned today either and I worked up peaches, canned green beans and froze some sweet corn yesterday.
I really enjoy reading your blogs because I have been where you are with 3 small children, except I have 4 ,but mine are now very capable of working and helping out, so my laundry usually gets done and put away! But I remember the years it didn't!! Thats not that long ago!! Enjoy your children now, they will soon be older and your challenges will be greater.

Rhonda, way to go! Breakfast is highly over-rated!

Rachel, I'm speechless. And I want a Cinnabon.

Betty, thanks, I think. :-)

Right now while I'm typing this, Caleb is trying to talk to me and has even resorted to talking loudly right in my ear to get my attention.

Hi Jenni, I'm home! I couldn't wait to read all your updates...it took awhile to read all yours. I was pleased! =) I'm not going to leave any confessions here because I'm going to post a few on my blog just as soon as I get around to it. I'm actually dreading doing it but I promise not to let that put me off...for too long. =) Are there any blueberries left? I'm hearing sad reports...will there be any to pick by the time I am able to go? It's one thing to give up your house...it's another thing intirely to not have berries for 2 years in a row.

I have little tiny ants in my kitchen right now that I can't seem to get rid of.....My husband says its because I'm sweet. I think thats a little bias. I also must confess to running an errand the other day and embarrassing myself. I was trying to take a short cut that I saw Kerry take. I was doing fine till the road came to a tee. I looked and right away I thought I saw the place where Kerry turned on the other side of a corn field. So, I drove down the road and turned. Boy, was I suprised to see someones garage right in front of me, and to make matters worse the Mr and Mrs of the house were standing there looking at me. I waved and backed out of their drive in a hurry.

Iris, welcome home! Can't wait to see you! And, yes, the berries are not that great. I hope there are some left for you. It's really hard work picking. We went out yesterday and it took me about 5 hours of picking to get 2 1/3 gallons. Of course, I'm not a fast picker at all, but still...

Jenny, I wish I could've seen your face when you drove in that driveway! :-)

Hi Jenni, since I'm one of those people who drop by your blog once in awhile I thought I'd better answer you question. I just ate a Dove, special dark chocolate bar and if I could I'd eat 10 more :(
